Block AOL Instant Messenger Port on a Juniper SSG20?

I tried port 5190 but that will only check the AOL suite and not the stand alone AIM application from involving to the net. Is there a guide somewhere out there for me to follow or can someone here provide me with a key? Thanks in advance!!!

Portblocking isn’t ample to get rid of IM programs. Users will just change the port to 80 or 443, etc. I used Group Policy on one of our Windows 2003 ma?tre d’h?tel to prevent these programs from life installed in the first house. If you run a smaller network, just remove the users right to install programs like this.

To get rid of them on the outer limits of a network, you’ll need some type of packet inspection. We use a SonicWall Pro3060. It looks at things on the packet level and filters out IM stuff.

You can also check a excellent part of the websites used to confirm courier programs AND their download sites.
