Can you tell if you were deleted from Google Chat?

I deleted a contact, when they were in my GChat list before. When I deleted them, they of course departed from my list.
Do they know you deleted them from your contacts? Does my name disappear off their GChat buddy list too?

well once they try contact you then they will realize you must have deleted them, but it’s not like they get a message saying you did that.

it wont tell them. you will subdue be on their list
